Dave Watson is a professional author and has written and now published his book about AMBUSCADE – from 1746 to today. 

He became involved in the AMB/ Clyde Naval Heritage project as a member of the Glasgow City Council and wrote it to raise money, which will be particularly useful when she gets back and on display in Glasgow. 

It is a very good account of her earliest days in the French and British navies, and particularly comprehensive about the one we all know.
